The cottage was not well kept with mold on deck and deck furniture. Downstairs bedrooms were awkward to get in and out due to outside door. However, the showstopper for us was no washer/dryer despite the listing clearly indicating that laundry was an amenity. Contacted the property manager and they rudely expressed that is was my fault for not clearly reading the description of the property. I sent them a snapshot of the property disclosure which clearly says laundry. We will never rent from this vendor again. A disclosure is binding and since there is no way to fully inspect the property prior to rental, these disclosures are that much more important, and accuracy is a must. Since we packed according to listing, we had to spend additional time and money to have the entire family laundry done twice. An additional kicker was that the owner left laundry pods on the kitchen counter.
