About this house rental
This 1890’s Victorian has been beautifully renovated to offer both old world charm and modern amenities throughout. Guest will be greeted with crisp, clean linens, extra comfy bedding, and a spacious atmosphere pleasantly appointed to ensure a cozy stay.
The Grandview is a 5 Bedroom 2 Bathroom property that has been appointed specifically for VRBO guests. We're happy to have you enjoy the space as much as we do.
The property is conveniently located close to Windham, Hunter, Hudson, Albany, and everything else the beautiful Hudson Valley has to offer. You’re also less than a mile to the downtown Catskill, NY - which offers a variety of dining and entertainment options. Breweries, Ciderys, Wine Tasting, Distilleries, Farmstands, Apple Picking, and much more are all within a beautiful 20 minute drive.
The Grandview is a great option for groups large or small, looking for an Upstate NY experience while staying “connected” - with stores and activities walking distance from the house, strong WiFi, and ample cellphone service. Stock up at the local stores and supermarkets which are all less than a 5 minute drive.
Outside you will find two fire pits, one gas one wood, a sizable gunite swimming pool, a barbecue with all the tools, and comfortable patio furniture ready for entertaining. Our friendly neighbors are happy to see our guests enjoy the space, so feel free to say hello!
There are a variety of stores that are walking distance to the property, and downtown Catskill is a short distance, that's walkable for some, and a short drive for most due to some steeper hills. Uber and Lyft aren't present in this area, but there are a variety of local car services if you prefer to let some else handle the driving. The Grandview is literally the dead center of every activity the area has to offer.

We so enjoyed our stay at the house! It was so clean and spacious. The decorating is lovely as are the historic details of the house. It was very comfortable on very hot days and the pool was a delight. The host was very responsive when we had questions. We would welcome the opportunity to stay again!

My extended family met here for a family get together and high school graduation. The interior of the house was great! Communications with the owner was excellent and he was very responsive. That being said the exterior of the house and pool was unsatisfactory. The pool had a lot of algae and was cloudy - unswimable. The landscaping and weeds were in poor shape. Some of the the patio furniture was very worn. It’s not an inexpensive home and we expected more.

Spacious house in great location to visit Catskill and Hudson. Convenient to stores and plenty of room to visit and share meals. Found a great wine bar in Catskill- Chemistry Wine Bar- and house is close to a bird sanctuary trail.

Our stay went very well. The house was clean, well provisioned, spacious, and very nice. Everyone in my family enjoyed the stay a great deal. The check-in was easy and the owner had all of the bases covered! I would highly recommended this property!
