About this house rental
Starting in June 2023, our lovely vacation home will be available for rent.
The house offers ocean views and is located on a quiet street in the Rio d'Oro residential community, about 5 kilometers from the beach. The lots to the left and right of the house are undeveloped. This gives the house plenty of privacy, allowing you to enjoy the peace and quiet undisturbed. The various terraces offer stunning views overlooking Calonge, the Bay of Palamós, and the Bay of Sant Antoni de Calonge.
The house features four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom with an adjoining bathroom (en suite) is located on the first floor. The other three bedrooms and a bathroom with a tub/shower, toilet, and vanity are located on the first floor. The same goes for the *pool, which offers extra privacy thanks to its location on the upper floor.
*From the last week of October through the last week of April, the pool is covered.
Downstairs, in addition to the en-suite bedroom, there is also a separate toilet, a kitchen with a dishwasher, a combination microwave, an espresso machine, a fridge-freezer, and a washing machine. The house features a spacious entryway, a storage room, and a spacious living room with a fireplace.
The house also includes a lockable garage.
Calonge is just a stone’s throw from the bay of Palamós and Sant Antoni de Calonge, in the heart of the Costa Brava. The beautiful sandy beaches, with crystal-clear water and an average temperature of about 28 degrees during the summer months, along with the cozy restaurants, tapas bars, and outdoor cafes, will make your vacation complete. If you’re looking for more entertainment and enjoy going to nightclubs, then the bustling Platja d’Aro is the place to be; its many shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs guarantee a wonderful evening!
The port of Palamós is well worth a visit; that’s where the fishing boats dock around 5:00 p.m. to sell their catch at the auction. Another “must-do” is visiting the local wineries, where you can also sample delicious wines.
The popular beaches of Sant Antoni de Calonge and “La Platja Gran” in Palamós are located along beautiful boardwalks equipped with every conceivable amenity. The nearest airport is Girona, 38 kilometers away. But Barcelona, at 120 kilometers, is also easily accessible.
