A gorgeous villa with a private swimming pool, 1 km from the beach in Platja d'Aro, on the Costa Brava!
This luxurious holiday home is perfect for families or groups of friends up to 8 people. There is a spacious garden with swimming pool (8 x 5m) and a big, partly covered terrace with stunning views out to sea, which has quality garden furniture and a barbeque for enjoying meals outside. The house itself has a lovely comfortable living room with a digital flatscreen TV, and a fireplace. There is also a dining room and a big kitchen (with a dish-washer, a microwave and a coffee-expresso machine). There are 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 twins) of which 2 have their own private bathroom en suite. In total there are 3 bathrooms (2 have a bath and 1 has a shower).
The house is located in a quiet residential area only 1 km from the sandy beach. The distance to the centre of Platja d'Aro with all its shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars is 2 km from here

The villa is up a hill but its walkable...the villa a was perfect size for our family the only downside to this villa was the pool, it's so cold that we couldn't get in it. The pool is either shaded by the trees in the morning and the villa on the afternoon. Which would be great if it was heated! The front door is on a code so no worries of being locked out which I think is a great idea. Overall a pleasant stay

Villa was absolutely beautiful with amasing views.
Our host was brilliant and very helpful, responded to every query immediately. Nothing was too much trouble.
As we were there in a heat wave where the weather was extreme, the only improvement we would suggest is the installation of air conditioning as at night it was uncomfortable to sleep.

We arrived very late - 1030pm - but were immediately bowled over with the house. There were 8 of us in total - 2 boys, 8 and 5. Having travelled for 16 hours a few jumped into the pool while the rest of us wandered around delighted that the pictures were an accurate reflection of the house.
The area was delightful with views over the bay and we enjoyed a number of evenings watching the twinkling lights, playing games on the veranda followed by late night dips.
Our stay, the house and the area were all magical. You could dip in and out of the local hustle and bustle of the nearby town which provided numerous places to eat, drink and stroll. We travelled to a number of lovely beaches where we snorkelled, went out on canoes and pedallos. The local water park was also a huge success with the boys.
We would highly recommend this property to families and we will also look to book through Homeway which made the process extremely straight forward and simple.
