We didn't end up staying in this house as there were issues with it. Our host found us another house to stay instead of just leaving it our responsibility. The new house was brand new and beautiful. They also did not make us pay the extra cost of this house because of having to cancel our other accommodation. Very grateful for that.
The house did not have some of the items like hand towels and dish cloths. We attributed this to perhaps no having enough time to get everything in as this was a last minute change. Or maybe that is not customary in New Zealand?! Either way very minor issue.

Beautiful home, big and spacious. Clean and tidy inside. We enjoyed our stay.
Outside needed a tidy, Lawns would have been nice if they were cut upon arrival.
Inside sunroom needed a sweep.
And just a few basic kitchen items eg… cleaning cloth, cleaning spray, and some big bowls.

The location was good however the photos of did not match what we had expected. Rooms were a big smaller and the house its self is surrounded by a lot of other houses - photos suggest that it had a great space. When we had an issue the host was quick to respond and bring people onsite to fix the issue.
Great location as we wanted to be closer to the airport however the house is not child friendly. Lots of steep stairs leading up to the attic where 2 bedrooms are located and the downstairs area is steep - not safe for little kids. There was also a weird smell throughout the house however the host said that when it rains there seems to be a plumbing issue.
