Location of house was good, and house was clean, washer and dry convenient.

The bedding was comfortable, and each bedroom had its own bathroom. This was the best feature of this rental property. Location of house was good and made it convenient to travel to nearby locations. However, just to be clear you need to take a vehicle to get to all locations including the beach. Overall the house was clean!

Kitchen was dated, dishes were minimal, in-particular glass-wear and zero wine glasses. Neighborhood had dated houses and their properties were not maintained. Some neighbors would be labels as hoarders.

The perfect place where everyone had their own bathroom!

This is an absolutely lovely home to stay in! There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom! That in itself was awesome with our group. The kitchen has everything you need, and the air conditioning takes the edge off the hotter days. A nice big driveway made it easy for our two vehicles, and it was perfect.

I can't really think of anything. The neighborhood has lots of dogs that barked in the day, but they didn't bark at night, so that was good. I could comment about the price, but that's all of Kona lol! Compared to everything else we could find this was respectively a great deal!

Fun in the sun!

Great location for Kona Kailua! The house fit all 7 of us with no problems. We used the beach equipment they provided. It was great to have chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The washer and dryer got a work out! Nice quiet neighborhood.

It got a warm during the afternoon and the air conditioning had a problem keeping up.

This was for 4 medical professional colleagues from my former university in Japan. They loved it.

The owner was easy to deal with and because Kona Surf is a name used in an area of the Keauhou district, I thought this was in a completely different neighborhood. I was happy to find out it was off of Royal Poinciana. It was good for my coworkers to see a real Kona neighborhood where my friends have lived.

If there had been a mechanism to communicate with the host by text, it would have allayed some of my fears. I understand why, but I was nervous not confirming the lock box until the day before. The lockbox itself stuck, so it took some maneuvering to coax it open.

Perfect accomodations for a large family or a group of friends.

Great location right off of Alii Drive. Loved the fact that we all had our own bathroom. Beds were comfy and AC in every room. I would definitely stay here again!

Stay away if you don't want to ruin your stay

Number of rooms. Fairly close to Kailua-Kona downtown.

The property is infested with pests. We killed three cockroaches—two large ones and one that could fly. Additionally, one of the bathrooms was accumulating insect droppings by the minute, possibly indicating a termite infestation. Host didn't want to admit it's a pest-infested property and didn't want to take reasonable actions.

Relaxing family vacation home away from all the touristy madness

Kevin was a great host and very responsive. This was a great place to stay for our situation. I was taking my adult kids on vacation. Resort rooms for everyone would have cost ten times as much. Instead, we got a very relaxed home atmosphere just a mile from the beach. Every room has its own bathroom - huge bonus. Could not have been happier with our choice to stay here.

Casa vacanze molto vicina al centro di Kona, a pochi passi dal mare. Le tre camere con i letti matrimoniali sono spaziose, quella con il tetto a castello meno, ma tutte hanno il bagno. Soggiorno accogliente con angolo cottura. La struttura è dotata di tutti gli elettrodomestici (forno, forno a microonde, bollitore, frullatore), il frigo ha anche un refill per l'acqua e il ghiaccio. A disposizione degli ospiti condimenti, posate pentole, tutto il necessario per cucinare. C'è il barbecue su uno dei terrazzini e il kit per usarlo.Il proprietario, gentile e disponibile, offre gratuitamente (nel box) biciclette, maschere, pinne e sedie per il mare. Ottimo kit per l'igiene personale con bagnoschiuma, shampoo e balsamo, phon,addirittura l'acetone per le unghie. C'è parcheggio per due auto davanti all'ingresso. Facile il check in e le comunicazioni. È veramente una casa equipaggiata di tutto. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Late check out a 45 dollari fino alle 15.00.
