Cleanliness and presentation on arrival. Inside apartment looked fairly new. Useful washing machine. Comfortable bed and pillows. Sofa good. Instant hot water. Well stocked kitchen. Nice view out the back. Swimming pool fantastic. Enough sunloungers. Liked having door key instead of a key card. Car park was great open expanse with lots of spaces.

Bedroom sliding window which opens to the public corridor does not lock was very unnerving as there was no safety deposit box meaning our passports and cash could have been vulnerable. Balcony sliding door locked but only after learning there was a knack to it as I realised you had to lift the handle upwards which also lifted up the whole window pane so the catch would align I didn't panic about this as was unlikely someone could access the balcony easily. The balcony wasn't big enough to sit out on and you could just about get the washing rack out on it. There was a dirty rusty fixed concrete barbeque which took up nearly half the room of the balcony would look better without this and is a waste of space in my opinion. There was no kitchen bin just a tiny tiny bin on the balcony and we were unsure what to do with the rubbish to start with but eventually learnt to walk it a short distance down the road to a municipal bin. Would have been helpful to have some instructions on the dining table about this or some kind of welcome pack with information about stuff but certainly could do with a kitchen bin with a liner in it to get started with. Finally cleaning! On arrival the apt was very clean however we had been charged a cleaning fee and never had any further cleaning throughout our stay of 9 nights. We understand that this is self catering but having paid the additional cleaning fee we expected to receive a couple of cleaning visits during our stay. 9 nights is a long time in a beach environment without a change of bed sheets and general bathroom floor tidy.
