Casa Pinheirinho

Lovely quiet location in a small neighbourhood, a short walk to local restaurants, supermarket and only 10-15 minutes into the centre of Sagres. Also near to the campsite which has a great little cafe/bar, perfect for a morning coffee! Easy walking and cycling access to the coastal road/bike path. Plenty of outside space and secure private parking was a bonus especially as we had bikes with us. Spacious kitchen, which was well equipped, and lounge. Everything was clean and well maintained. Friendly neighbours!

It was uncomfortably hot at night towards the end of our stay when the weather got hotter and we couldn’t have windows open due to mosquitoes. Could do with some more cups and glasses, and hooks rails in the bathrooms for clothes and towels. But these were minor niggles and didn’t detract from our stay.

The house is new, furnished with IKEA, and well kept. It has everything you need for a long stay -- dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, etc. House has two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. Great water pressure! There's no air conditioning, but it was never hot inside. There's a nice table with a bench outside, perfect to have family dinners or enjoying drinks after a hot day. Parking space is enough for two cars. The location feels safe. Bonus tip -- ask the owner for a tuk-tuk ride around Sagres.
