Mid-Century Modern Dream Retreat

Comfortable bed and linens. Plenty of bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. I enjoyed the artwork on walls and modern finishes and furniture. All appliances were new and in good working condition. Leo the host was attentive and friendly.

Big dogs barking close to us when entering and leaving the unit. Back sitting area was great but didn’t use because of barking dogs. Path entering the unit was uneven in some spots.

I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the quiet area. Completely loved going for walks and the gorgeous views and flowers in the neighbourhood . The unit was spotless and the bed, linens and towels were exceptionally comfortable. It was so convenient having the washer/dryer. All appliances were spotless and in good condition and easy to use. I found the location perfect for my purposes as I was there to discover the stunning Kelowna area and spend time with family. I loved the assortment of coffee mugs. I did cook some meals and was pleased with the set up and ease of use in the kitchen.

At first I was confused about where to enter as there was a sign on the somewhat stubborn entry gate to “Beware of Dog”. Having been bitten before, made me a little leery, but once I realized there were no dogs inside the gate there were no issues. Part way through my 10 day stay two rather large dogs showed up on the next level. One seemed friendly and just barked but the other one barked and growled when I went outside. I found the TV rather small for the nice sized room and was surprised there was no hair dryer. I was hoping to have my cousin over for a meal but found the patio area somewhat disappointing due to being used to store shovels and watering can but sadly no plants to water. I would have liked to invite my cousin over for a meal but the guidelines posted on the fridge specifically stated no parties or guests. At any rate I didn’t find the outdoor area for the unit suitable for guests.
