La casa Bea

Excellent location right on the edge of the Town. The house was beautiful, very French, spacious and comfortable. The host was very helpful and communicative. We would definitely return here and highly recommend.

Nothing, it was all perfect (apart from the fires, but that is out of everyone's control!)

Pool furniture was old and patio needed a good cleaning

The location was excellent! Right in the center of the village but quiet and with loads of space and a beautiful private patio and pool.

The toilets could be upgraded and new bed linens would be nice. More importantly, it would be nice to air out the space some because it’s a bit musty and humid in the apartment. We spent so much time outside because of the beautiful weather so it wasn’t a huge problem.

The location of Casa Bea is excellent for walking around Cotignac and using public transport to get to Brignoles and onto either Nice or Aix en Provence & Marseille. The property is large enough to cater for 6-8 people, but the kitchen is quite small. The hosts were very quick to respond and very friendly.

When we arrived the moment we opened the door we were met by a mouldy damp smell & the bedding on 3 double beds was damp, we had to take it all outside to dry it. The next day the bedding & our clothes felt damp again. We kept the windows and shutters closed in the day time & only opened them at dusk, as recommended by our hosts, but this let in the mosquitos and we all suffered multiple nasty bites. The house was very dark inside as the lightning was not sufficient when you have shutters closed. Also there was only one bedside light in each bedroom. The shower in the bathroom, which serves 2 double bedrooms, did not provide enough hot water for four people to shower, twice a day, when the weather was extremely hot. There are internal steps throughout the property, in particular between two double bedrooms and the bathroom that they share, causing issues for people with restricted mobility. The entrance door to Casa Bea from the street, leads to a covered cobbled path, which has no light & is extremely uneven. The television only gives you access to some films, not to any television channels.
