SBR is a gorgeous north island site. Rough road to get there but worth the trip. Beach is great and really well maintained. The guys work very hard. The front desk staff are remarkable people, especially Heidi,Rosi, and the rest. Everyone was so kind and helpful from arranging a tour or a ride to and from the airport. The on-site restaurant, Gem, is just ok. Some very tasty meals did come out and there’s potential to be great but they have to get it together regarding consistency of portions and quality but mostly on the service side of the restaurant. It’s a bit of a disaster. Really slow and hit or miss if everyone gets to eat at the same time. Have to mention that Gem is on-site but independent from Sapphire. Now for the condo: really nice kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Living room needs more seating. One futon for a three bedroom condo is not enough seating. Some issues with the condition and safety of the outside furniture and balcony rail but that’s for the owner to take care of, not Sapphire. Hopefully the owner responds to guest comments. Overall, an A+ vacation. Can’t wait to return next year.
