The in-house chef, who trained and gained experience at Michelin-starred restaurants and once ran his own catering business, still works in the kitchen with great love and passion, preparing a delightful breakfast (available for an additional fee) and a delicious dinner (reservation required) featuring plenty of local and homegrown produce from the vegetable and herb garden that will send your taste buds into overdrive.
*Ontinyent: Ontinyent is very centrally located—an hour from Valencia, an hour from Alicante, about 40 minutes from the fashionable town of Denia, or 40 minutes from the coast near Benidorm with its charming tourist villages. The town of Ontinyent is truly quintessentially Spanish, with tourism that hasn’t yet become overwhelming, boasting a vibrant, lively, and friendly atmosphere with authentic little shops. Ontinyent is situated in a nature-rich area, also known as Spain’s “Green Triangle.” *Pou Clar Ontinyent is justifiably very proud of its Pou Clar, a stunning natural spring with several waterfalls and small lakes. It’s a complex of crystal-clear pools nestled among rock formations where you can enjoy a nice walk, and in the summer, it’s a wonderful spot to jump off the rocks into the refreshing water. *Covetes dels Moros: man-made caves. These caves were carved into a rock face and feature openings shaped like windows. There are other similar cave windows in the area, but this is the most intricate group. *Museo Nino Bravo: Nino Bravo Museum *Serra Grossa *Beautiful wineries offering velvety-smooth wines
