Villa Grandview certainly lives up to its name, perched on the hill surrounding Funchal it has a stunning 180-degree panorama of the city and out to the ocean. This exquisite, modern villa has 4 spacious bedrooms and a beautiful open plan living area. The private heated pool and terrace provide a perfect spot to unwind and soak up the Madeiran sunshine. This villa offers a free electric car docking station for charging your car. WiFi, pool heating, and air conditioning/ heating in the bedrooms and lounge are included.
Villa Grandview is located above the city of Funchal with breath-taking views. A short walk from the villa is a bakery serving fresh bread and pastries, whilst there are a handful of restaurants and a supermarket just a short drive away. A 5 minute drive from the villa takes you to the wonderful Monte Palace botanical gardens. Nearby to this is the famous 'Monte Sledge', an exhilarating downhill ride through the streets of Funchal on a wicker toboggan, ending just a short stroll from Villa Grandview it's a fun and exciting activity. Adjacent to this is the cable car, which glides over the terracotta roofs below and straight into the heart of the Old Town. Funchal is renowned for its impressive New Year's Eve fireworks display and thanks to Villa Grandview's sublime location, it is simply the perfect location to watch this magical evening unfold.
