Santa Lucia sea view

This apartment is in a beautiful part of Naples, right beside the sea. It is located in an old building whose front door must be 20 feet high! Although it is on the 3rd floor it is accessed by a charming old lift. Lory was in contact with us before we arrived, as we were en route, and was there to greet us and show us around the apartment. She was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment itself is a mix of old and new. There are some beautiful antique pieces of furniture with lovely colourful artwork on the walls. The bedroom is spacious, with a comfortable bed and small balcony with table and 2 chairs. The kitchen is well equipped, just lacking some tea towels. The bathroom is beautifully tiled and plenty of towels were available. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in the apartment. It is even very close to a swimming spot if you wanted to temporarily escape the heat of the city.

The only issue was that the toilet often didn’t flush, despite repeated pushing of the button. A basin of water had to be used instead. Lory said she would bring this to the attention of the owner.

The size of the apartment was excellent and had heap of room to move around and relax

Broken faucet, shower head leaks. Broken washing machine, broken air conditioner. No soap, no dishwashing liquid, no dish sponge, no garbage bags. Only 1 mug for tea. Pillows are hard and lumpy like sacks of potatoes + stink of sweat. Garbage and junk in drawers.
