Culinary wise, Charlieu has delicious pastries, cheeses and wine to offer and will fill your stomach with treats. Numerous castles surround Charlieu, Drée, La Roche, La Clayette are just a few of them. Numerous A large number of hiking trails, including the Way of St. James cross Charlieu and will take you further along the Loire. In summer, Charlieu hosts night markets and a festival of silk making that you should not miss.
