Yellow Coco Gili Gede

Great location. Clean comfortable room in lovely garden setting.

This place was just what we needed to get to know the genuine Gili Gede without sacrificing on comfort and amenities. Do not expect a luxury surrounding but a local village atmosphere. Sophie and her family are great hosts who made our stay very special. They organised a private snorkelling trip for us and transport to Lombok. They share their culture and expertise and take the time to get to know their guests.

It is not in one of the main ports of the island but a quick walk to all the restaurants and points of interest.

We loved the hosts, the quiet and very real life, we loved walks through the village to watch sunrise, we loved the beautiful food cooked by Sophia and helers The dinners they cooked us were so delicious. We loved our snorkeling trips.

Direkt am Meer, sehr ruhig

Stiche an Körperteile die nicht bedeckt waren. Sehr wahrscheinlich Bettwanzen. Moskito Spray hat nicht geholfen. Da ich dort nicht mehr bin, haben die Symptomen aufgehört. Ziemlich eindeutig also. Die Überfahrt zum Festland wird schön angerechnet. Der Transport Preis ist mindestens das doppelte. Hierzu hatte ich eine sehr unschöne Situation mit der Leitung. Es wurde mir unterstellt den Transport nicht zahlen zu wollen. Dabei ist der Fahrer (Ehemann der Leiterin) ohne Verabschiedung weggefahren und mich an dem „offizieusen“ Ticket Schalter abgesetzt. Er ist ohne sein Geld in Empfang genommen zu haben abgehauen. Hinterher war ich die Böse und wurde von seiner Frau mit WhatsApp bombardiert.
