Dali Oriental Seaview Hotel -Dali Erhai

The hotel is in Wenbi on the eastern shore of Lake Erhai, directly across the lake from Dali Old Town. Initially, we thought this might be inconvenient, but it worked out perfectly. The eastern side is quieter and there's plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Old Town Dali is a short 30 - 40 minute ride away. The staff were exceptional. They anticipated our needs and provided excellent service from the moment we arrived. Since we were staying for 4 days, we were upgraded to a suite. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. The bed was firm and faced the lake, so we awoke to a beautiful panorama of Lake Erhai every morning. I joked with my wife that the shower was so big, we could play a game of tennis in there! The breakfast included a variety of local dishes bento box style and changed daily. Yunnan province, and Dali specifically, are noted for their coffee beans. We were greeted every morning with a fresh cup as soon as we sat down for breakfast. If you're a coffee drinker, like we are, there is no lack of coffee shops in and around Dali. There are even small vans parked along the lake with coffee machines, umbrellas, and chairs for enjoying a cup lakeside. Since our stay was in late September, we didn't indulge in the pool, but it looked very inviting. All in all, our stay at Oriental Seaview (Unparalled) Hotel was an exceptional experience and a place we plan on returning to on our next visit to Dali.

We had an excellent time, and the hotel was wonderful with a seaview that was absolutely exquisite, beautiful. I have traveled to many places, and this was our first time in Dali, China. What a great experience. I am already planning to return, and I can honestly say that our stay was UNPARALLELED! To say the least, it was refreshing to see such kindness, care, attentiveness, professionalism, and overall joyful demeanor from the entire staff. The activities and nearby restaurants were excellent, and I must mention that the sunset at the local coffee cafe was breathtaking and a must do local attraction. The hotel serves breakfast, tea, and evening treats that were all delicious. Overall, the Dali Oriental Seaview Hotel surpassed my expectations and was a positive, memorable difference in making our journey away from home filled with good times, happy memories, and nice excursions The stay was uniquely welcoming, fun, and relaxing all at the same time. I located the unparalleled Dali Oriental Seaview Hotel on Booking.com, which was a good thing since the hotel is hidden away in a manner that you would not imagine. There may be a few steps to climb, but there is a small elevator, and good things are often revealed in different ways. All this to say, thank you, to the hotel, for sharing this hidden gem. Who would have imagined such an exquisite, unique place to stay.

There was nothing worth mentioning that I did not like. We had a very nice stay at the hotel.
