Good for small stay, not spending too much time in the apartment

The host was great; he let us stay longer and had a quality conversation in English. I like the district and surroundings, because it is not a tourist site and is still close to the very centre of Malaga. Wi-fi was excellent.

The apartment was not what I had expected from the photos; it was half the size, not 35 square meters, but 18 square meters, with a quite noisy environment and a lot of dust around in the kitchen. It was not ready when we arrived.

Great location - awful shower

Well located apartment in quiet neighbourhood. Complementary coffees were appreciated.

The shower was tiny and almost impossible to use. The shower head did not have a hook so you could not just stand in the water. Once the doors were closed it was difficult to wash / soap as literally no space. The window in the bathroom could not be opened easily so the room was very steamy following the shower. It also had a lingering mouldy smell.

Good value for the price, but dirty and there were ANTS

The location was perfect- close to the city center, all the main attractions, the Malagueta beach, the port. There was a lot of shops nearby, as well as the restaurants, bars, bakeries etc.

ANTS!!! there was a lot of ants in the kitchen and bathroom on our 1st day and they would reappear mostly in the bathroom during our stay. There was a half empty bottle of repellent in the cabinet, but we used it up and the owner said they left us some more but someone must’ve stolen it from our doorstep! Also the bathroom smelled moldy, the shower was dirty and the toilet smelled while flushing..

Miscommunication

I booked this hotel through Booking.com and requested to cancel shortly after, once I realised there was no concierge or reception staff on-site—something that was not made clear at the time of booking. As a solo traveller, this immediately made me feel unsafe.

The directions they sent were unprofessional, with a photo marked by a pin and a drawn-on arrow showing where to go. It looked nothing like a hotel and left me feeling uncomfortable and misled. Despite asking to cancel, I was still charged. Overall, this experience felt misleading and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for solo travellers looking for a safe and secure stay.

This was a nice and comfortable stay, and the apartment had pretty much all the basics.

The apartment was quite comfortable and cosy, although nothing special. But for the price, it was good value for money.

when we arrived, the bed had different duvet to the one on pictures which felt bit misleading for us as we were expecting white sheets, white bedding however had a random duvet which made it difficult to see whether this was clean or not. Host then explained this was due to it being cold so needing to use thicker duvet- so couldn't be as aesthetic as those pictures. We had no heating! we had to ask for this which came the next day, also the description was also misleading as there were no tea bags, host said these were going to arrive next day but never did. overall, this place is satisfactory so if you have a short say you'll be good.

No muy acogedor

Como parte a destacar positiva, el piso tenía buena iluminación, con aire acondicionado y bastante luz tanto natural como artificial.

Nada más llegar me encontré con una cucaracha en el baño; había bastante polvo y una junta del suelo estaba rota y apoyada en la pared. Envié foto al WhatsApp de la agencia y no recibí respuesta. La barriada en la que se encuentra el piso es una zona bastante humilde de Málaga y por la iluminación de la calle y barriada no es una zona relativamente segura.

Malaga è bellissima, ma

Il basso in cui ho alloggiato avrebbe anche potuto essere confortevole se non fosse per il forte odore di muffa: la doccia ne è cosparsa. Prese d'aria e luce che restano semichiuse perché non ho trovato come sollevare la serranda della finestra che da sulla strada; corridoio e bagno con prese d'aria alte, esposte nell'androne del palazzo. Era anche presente una perdita di acqua dallo scaldabagno, ma di piccola entità.

Pokój STRASZNY!!

Pokój, w którym się zatrzymaliśmy, był absolutnym koszmarem. W powietrzu unosił się smród, a pleśń była dosłownie wszędzie – zarówno na ścianie przy łóżku, na pościeli, jak i w łazience. Materac był żółty i poplamiony, a szczytem wszystkiego była pościel brudna nie tylko od pleśni, ale i przypalona papierosem. Okolica również nieciekawa – pokój znajdował się na parterze, było bardzo głośno i czuliśmy się niebezpiecznie. Co gorsza, w mieszkaniu było okno bez zasłony, które wychodziło bezpośrednio na korytarz, więc każdy mógł zajrzeć do środka. Gospodarz odmówił anulowania rezerwacji, więc mimo straty pieniędzy woleliśmy znaleźć inny nocleg, bo w takim miejscu po prostu nie da się spać. Nawet koc na kanapie i oparcia krzeseł były całe w plamach, co tylko potęgowało uczucie obrzydzenia. Niestety mogę załączyć tylko 4 zdjęcia. Nie wiem skąd te pozytywne opinie…
