Old Bay

It is excellently located in the heart of the historic centre only a 5 min walk from Duomo. It is also close to 2 different metro stations on 2 different lines, so is handy for getting anywhere. It feels very authentic, and has a cute balcony overlooking the streets. There is a key code rather than a key so you don't need to worry about losing a key. It was a very spacious apartment with more than enough room for our things. The air con worked perfectly, there was extra bedding and pillows too and lots of towels. The freezer compartment in the large fridge was very handy for freezing some drinks to take around with us and keep cool all day, especially at Pompeii! The host had excellent communication and messaged us several through our stay to check everything was OK. The lady who showed us to our room was very friendly too, and said 'Ciao' to us every time we passed.

We knew about the three flights of steps but after a few particularly long days, they were a little annoying to climb.

Siisti ja tilava asunto kujalla Napolin historiallisessa keskustassa. Asunto oli toimiva ja sijainti erinomainen: esimerkiksi Spaccanapolille kävelee n.10 minuutissa. Metropysäkki n.6 minuutin päässä. Asunto oli suhteellisen rauhallinen. Omistaja piti aktiivisesti yhteyttä ja vastasi nopeasti viesteihin.

Portaat ovat varmasti monelle raskaat nousta, joten asunto ei sovi liikkumisesteisille.

Old Bay is a very good choice if you want to stay in historical center and feel the napoletan vibe. Giovanni was great as a host, he speaks very well english and so everything was awsome. The place is very clean and roomy.

The pillows. 🤭 I think that the sleep iv very important in vacations so maybe some quality pillows would help. 😉

Para comenzar, la zona era precaria, nos cobraron una tasa de turismo más cara de la que aparecía en booking, justificando que JUSTO ESE DÍA había aumentado la misma, siendo que reservamos hace 6 meses y nunca nos avisaron. El acolchado estaba todo sucio, no había agua caliente, el anfitrión se justificó diciendo que justo ese día la caldera se había apagado por el viento (siendo eléctrica). A tener en cuenta que son 3 pisos que hay que subir por escalera. Dejo galletas y agua de cortesía.
