Ycona Eco-Luxury Resort, Zanzibar

The property is an absolute dream – stunningly beautiful and pure luxury. The entire resort is beautifully landscaped, almost like a tropical park, with each bungalow tucked away among lush greenery and palm trees, offering an incredible level of privacy. The main pool is absolutely breathtaking, the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and there are wonderful dining options. Everything is designed to make you feel relaxed, pampered and completely disconnected from everyday life. If you are looking for luxury, privacy and ultimate relaxation, this is the perfect place.

breakfast could be improved. same services daily for one week, became boring. needs improvement and more variety.

you are charged ridiculously for additional food for dinner instead of adding it to a full bored. no other food places around the resort, so you are forced to eat and pay additional charges.

The villas were amazing. The pool area overlooking beach was beautiful. The F&B staff were lovely

Could be a little quicker to respond to requests for water in rooms and for cleaning to take place. But a minor thing really because it was an amazing stay

It is a beautifully designed and very atmospheric place. I especially loved the interiors, the design of the house, and the beautiful gardens and greenery surrounding it. Everything is thoughtfully arranged and creates a very peaceful, stylish, and relaxing atmosphere. The property itself has a lot of character and was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

The food was the main disappointment for me. The variety of restaurants and dining options is very limited, and the breakfast selection is far too small for a hotel of this level. This is definitely an area that needs significant improvement.
