The apartment has a convenient location in the center of Savona, close to the port and the beach, which was important for our pre-cruise trip. The property is spacious: two bedrooms and a shared kitchen area, with enough space for a family stay, and comfortable beds.

At check-in, the apartment was not properly prepared for occupancy. In the bathroom, there were visible stains in the toilet already at the time of arrival. There was also a persistent sewage smell coming from the bathroom area, which did not disappear after ventilation. The kitchen dishes had dried food residues, which indicates insufficient prior cleaning. Basic items for cooking were missing (such as a knife and a cutting board), which limited the use of the kitchen. Some of the external shutters were not functioning properly: they did not stay fixed and kept closing on their own, which partially limited natural lighting and the view from the windows. The washing machine worked incorrectly: instead of a standard cycle of about 3 hours, the program lasted approximately 6 hours, after which the laundry remained very wet and had to be wrung out manually. The overall level of cleanliness of the apartment at check-in also did not meet expectations. After check-out, a situation arose regarding a personal item that was left behind. In response to the request for its return, the host reacted in an inappropriate manner and started making claims that the apartment had been left dirty after our departure. They sent photos of trash bags that we did not take out, a photo of an iron that was in a different place from where we took it, and a towel on the sink. It should be noted that the listing did not include any information about mandatory final cleaning after check-out. At the same time, most of the issues described above were already present at check-in.
