Tierra Residences

It's built like a hotel and feels like a home. The quality of the room and amenities are excellent for the price. The location is great, although it's a long-ish walk from Ekkamai BTS station, especially when you're tired or the weather is hot. Got excellent sleep on the perfectly comfortable mattress and the peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Clean sheets and towels were a bonus. The restaurant, Pool, Gym and massage center were great additions. Frankly I did not expect it to be so good.

Proximity to Ekkamai BTS station is not ideal. The walk can get cumbersome when you're tired or when it's hot. And taking a taxi/ grab cab is expensive for such a short distance. The in room sofa is very small and doesn't have good cushioning. Gave us a back ache. Kitchenette is not well equipped. No plates and forks. Just 2 old mugs, 2 bowls, 1 bowl plate, 1 chopping knife and 2 pans and 2 spoons. No coffee/ tea sachets or complimentary water. Balcony is sufficient for just 1 person standing. Just 1 single rod drying rack for clothes. Not convenient for long stays. Low Quality of Toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel. But that's not a deal breaker. Thankfully they have provided a jet-spray / bum washer in the toilet 🙏. The apartment building is at the end of a narrow road which is lined with old slums.

The breakfast area was very good. The food was delicious. Also enjoyed the massage area offed by the establishment.

The bathtub. Poorly designed. Difficult to get in due to the height of the tub. The design of the shower makes it difficult for the water on the sides of the tub to drain. So after a shower, water collects around the sides of the tub which is not good.

Cleanliness

The fact that it has washing matching but no microwave or iron to iron the clothes.. it doesnt even have face tissue.. also the entrance of the street is where there are alot of poor people which makes it bit disturbing. Its good for people who wants to stay for work purpose. And not for leisure.
