This is a lovely home with a rich history and charm. It was our home away from home. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was perfect! Walking distance to everything (including a grocery store) yet tucked away that it wasn't too noisy or loud. There's also a washer which was a huge plus to be able to do laundry. Having a somewhat of a double living was also nice. While some of us watched TV in one area, others played UNO in the other. It's very spacious! The main photo being of the dining table holds true to the many meals we shared as a family and memories we made when there. Consuelo and the owner really go above and beyond for their guests to ensure their comfort and satisfaction. Thank you for everything! You were exceptional and made our stay memorable :) Extra thanks for the chocolates and wine! You spoiled us :) I strongly recommend staying at Tierra de Canoeros!

Keep in mind that the house is quite old. With this said, don't come expecting the modern tech of a new building or home. The heaters have a personality of their own, but nothing rocket science. We accidently turned off one of them but were able to turn it back on with Consuelo's instructions. For the shower, be mindful that you need to wait at least 5 mins between each person to give time for the boiler to heat up again. So plan accordingly if you are many. (This didn't bother us, but writing it for others to be aware of) The beds were comfortable but a bit small (they seem smaller than a standard twin bed). They're still ok for one person and were perfect for our kids. Again, this is an old house, so there is wear and tear. We were a bit annoyed with the bathroom/washer door handle that came off. It seemed to have been repaired many times before to no avail. Consuelo offered to get it fixed but we declined as we didn't want to lose a day waiting for a technician. Hopefully it will be fixed for the next guests. I want to iterate that none of these things made our stay any lesser. We enjoyed our stay very much! It's an old home and you have to understand that going in. Be gentle and patient.

Consuelo nos recibió muy amablemente y nos explicó muchas cosas de la ciudad y los alrededores, fue muy cordial el trato con ella desde la reserva hasta la recepción. La casa muy linda y con camas comodísimas.

The staff!!!!! Consuelo was super nice and helpful!! And the heating system was awesome, they kept us warm throughout day and night!
