Our home is conveniently tucked away in the quiet, family-friendly neighborhood of Clarendon Woods in Richmond, VA 23223. It`s located less than 6 miles from downtown Richmond, less than 6 miles from Bon Secours Memorial Regional Hospital, less than 4 miles to the Richmond Raceway, and less than 5 miles to Mechanicsville, and much more. Short drive to nearby restaurants, parks, and grocery stores.
There is ample driveway parking available here, as well as street parking. A car is recommended, but Uber and Lyft ride services are also available here.
We do not provide the couches as sleeping accommodations; only the beds provided are intended for sleeping purposes.
Please Note: Unauthorized guests are strictly prohibited and considered trespassing. A $250 fee applies for unregistered guests or exceeding max occupancy. No parties, events, or gatherings allowed—violations may result in immediate cancellation without refund. Please ensure your guest count is accurate and let us know of any changes.

For bookings of 28 nights or longer, a professional mid-stay cleaning is required. This service ensures the home remains in excellent condition throughout your extended visit. An additional cleaning fee will apply and must be remitted separately after booking. We will coordinate directly with you to schedule the mid-stay cleaning at a convenient time.

The house is nice and clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood was busy with lots of cars and loud music. We received new house rules and info after we booked that would have affected our choice of staying here. There are a lot of rules!

We stayed at the Royal Retreat in Richmond to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. Instead of staying in hotel rooms downtown our family could stay together and that was so wonderful. Many memories were made and it was wonderful to stay I. Such a beautiful home. Thank you!

Not Royal, not Luxurious - this is a property in a housing development where many of the homes are the same. The master bathroom had a shower that trickled water, there were literally 4 forks in the kitchen,all the dishes were plastic and there were few lamps. However, the host was kind and responsive and my family could gather comfortably.
