Beach Haven: Oceanfront home in Corolla with a hot tub, private walkway to the beach, a rec room, media room, and awesome ocean views!

Escape to this oceanfront, 6-bedroom house located in the Ocean Hill neighborhood of Corolla. Ideal for families and couples, this spacious property offers the perfect Beach Haven retreat for a memorable vacation. Step onto the oceanside deck with a hot tub and soak in the breathtaking views of the beach. A convenient walkway provides easy access to the sandy shores, allowing you to spend your days basking in the sun and playing in the waves. For indoor entertainment, the house features a rec room complete with a pool table, foosball table, and a mini fridge, ensuring endless hours of fun and relaxation. The media room boasts a 51" TV, perfect for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows.
The house features a spacious great room with a cozy gas fireplace, perfect for those off-season getaways. Enjoy breathtaking ocean views and direct access to the oceanfront sun deck, where you can soak up the sun and listen to the waves crashing. The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's dream, complete with two dishwashers and an island seating area for four. The dining table can comfortably accommodate ten guests, ideal for hosting family meals. Additionally, there is a charming breakfast nook that doubles as a game table, providing a cozy spot for four to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or engage in some friendly competition. The house offers ample sleeping arrangements, including a king en suite, a queen en suite, and a family en suite with a queen and a bonus room with a twin bed as well as another queen room and two kids rooms with bunk beds.

Exploring Corolla: Beach Haven guests can travel north to explore the 4-wheel drive region or schedule a guided tour to see our world-famous wild horses. Trips south will allow you to explore historic sites including the old Corolla Village, The Whalehead Club, and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. The town of Corolla offers a wide variety of shops, eateries, fine dining, and recreation to enjoy throughout your stay.
Beach Access: Located just behind property. Use the wooden walkway behind the pool deck to access the beach.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.
Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

We were supposed to be in the US Virgin Islands but had to scuttle the trip (at a huge financial loss) because of a medical emergency. Some quick research on Vrbo led us to this oceanside gem (that didn't require air travel...) just north of Corolla in the Ocean Hills neighborhood. The house can easily accommodate 6 adults and 6 kids - there are bedrooms and bathrooms everywhere plus enough common spaces to let a crowd spread out and not be in each other's way every minute of the day. The kitchen is large and wonderful, but the knifes are dull, as is the case in every house that we have rented to date through Vrbo (I brought my own set...). The one safety issue was storm damage to the bottom steps leading down to the beach. We notified the property managers early on and this should be repaired by the time this review is posted. Overall rating primarily based on the location. The house itself is no more than 3 stars. The location of this house is fantastic and certainly the reason for staying here. Public beach access is close, but the beach was generally not overly crowded right by the house most days (during probably the busiest time of year). Wraparound decks were enjoyable all times of day and even gave us a great view of the fireworks on the 4th. We enjoyed the accessibility to the beach and flexibility for all to come and go during the day.
