A first Booking.com apartment… and it felt like a little love story (thank you, Alexandre!) This was my very first time booking an apartment through Booking.com — and after more than 35 years as a hotel guest, I’ll admit I was a little skeptical at first. Then came that familiar “arrival moment”: you step out of the car, take a slow walk around the building, and try to understand everything… Where’s the entrance? How do I access the parking? Will it be complicated? But Alexandre made it effortless. His communication was outstanding — clear, friendly, and perfectly timed through the platform. Within minutes I was comfortably parked, and with a simple access code I entered the building and stepped into what turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The moment I opened the door, I actually smiled. The photos online were almost too modest — the apartment is even more beautiful in real life. Stylish, tasteful, and so thoughtfully designed that it feels like walking into a high-end showroom… but with the warmth of a true home. And the cleanliness? Absolutely impeccable. “Five-star hotel” level. Not a single speck of dust, not one detail overlooked. The apartment smelled fresh, was perfectly aired out, and everything felt pristine from the first second. It’s located on the first floor, on a very quiet street — wonderfully peaceful — and it comes with a lovely terrace that quickly became my favorite place to slow down and breathe. The bathroom was just as spotless, and then there was the bed: the mattress was genuinely excellent, and the bedding felt premium and comforting. I remember thinking, I’m going to sleep incredibly well here — and I truly did. I enjoyed six calm, restorative nights. The kitchen also deserves a special mention: beautifully equipped, with everything your heart could desire — the kind of setup that makes you want to cook, even when you planned to eat out.

Modern, well-equipped apartment in a great location. Great value for money.

Stunning apartment. Very modern and superbly well equipped. It was easy to find and the instructions to enter the apartment building, and apartment itself, were very clear and easy to follow. The host was very responsive and took care of our every need. The provided parking space was a lovely bonus. The apartment is located in an area where there is a medical centre and pharmacy, as well as other residential units. Parking can be tight, so having a dedicated space was perfect. Don't pass this place by if you are considering it for a stay in Cherbourg. For us it was a one-night stopover before getting the ferry the next day. We regret that we didn't stay a second night, given how lovely the apartment was.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Excellent large double bed with good quality bedding and sheets. Very quiet inside, despite a busy road as the flat is very well noise insulated. First floor with lift access and secure parking in an allocated wide space. Dog friendly.

Good location for a night or two with easy port access, but not really a holiday type setting.

Perfect for a couple with a dog. Felt very safe. Secure parking was a big bonus. Kitchen very well equipped. Bed and pillows very comfortable, towels provided were clean and good quality.

Stay in Cherbourg

The apartment is superbly equipped and very clean and modern. Allocated parking right next to the building. 15 minute walk into the centre, no hills, nice and flat. Nice and quiet area. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Perfection

The instructions to get to the property were crystal clear which really helps when arriving in an unfamiliar town. Everything within the apartment was exceptionally clean and the interior decoration and fittings sublime. The bed and other furnishings were comfortable indeed the whole apartment was a joy to stay in. Well done.

Very comfortable Cherbourg apartment

I stayed here with my 4yr old son and we loved it. He was obsessed with the map of the world and picking out countries. Very spacious and comfortable apartment, ideal for us for 2 nights before our ferry back to Portsmouth. We used the main bedroom and the sofa bed and I was surprised at how comfortable the sofa bed was. Good quality bedding for both beds. Everything is obviously new. I'd highly recommend this apartment. We drove around due to the weather and little legs but it seemed very walkable into the heart of Cherbourg too.

Superbe appartement bien situé avec une place de parking très pratique et sécurisée, très bonne isolation. L'équipement est très fonctionnel et de très bonne qualité. Salle de bain de belle taille avec douche très spacieuse. Cuisine très bien équipée. Appartement situé à l'écart du centre de Cherbourg mais à moins de 15 minutes de marche ce qui est très appréciable. Piste cyclable et pédestre juste au pied de l'immeuble.

Peut-être prévoir quelques torchons supplémentaires en cuisine serait un plus, un seul était un peu juste et un bac pour égoutter la petite vaisselle si on veut utiliser le lave-vaisselle de façon occasionnelle seulement.
