Perfect location. 5min walk from the metro station Grozăvești. Carrrefour Market is just downstairs, at the entrance. The apartment is very modern, cozy, clean and well equipped. Totally recommend it!

Very nice apartment, very clean and comfortable. The key handover was simple and straightforward. The kitchen was already stocked with salt, and we also left some olive oil, which might come in handy for future guests. The apartment was not very far from the center and very close to the subway.

Nothing, all perfect.

It was clean. There's a washing machine. Nice balcony with view as it's on the 10th floor. I was offered a late checkout as a peace offering, although I didn't need it

Extremely poor instructions on how to get there. It is in one building among 5-6 other monstrous buildings which all look the same. I had to ask the assistance of some folks who lived on the property, and even they couldn't locate it based on what the host provided. When I finally got the key and got in, I realized that there was only one key on the key ring and it didn't fit the front foyer door. I messaged the host about this and the snarky reply was they didn't think that they needed to explain to me something so obvious: what I thought was just a keychain, was also a sensor that opened the foyer door. I had never seen this system before. What I'm learning is that it seems to be common in Romania. There are no screens on the windows or doors, so mosquitoes get in the room. On the first night I was plagued the entire night by mosquitoes and tried to close the windows to turn on the air conditioner, but I could not find the control. Horrible night of not sleeping. In the morning I asked the host where the control was and I was informed that THEY control the temperature of the apartment! Now, I have done quite a bit of traveling, and I have NEVER encountered such a thing. I'm wondering whether they would like to have someone control the temperature in their room when they themselves travel?? We went back and forth via text over this subject. We also went back and forth trying to figure out the coffee machine, which I had never seen and wasn't working properly. They finally told me that they didn't have all day to sit and text with me, as if that's how I wanted to spend my limited time in Bucharest! Eventually (hours later!) they told me where to find the control which was well-hidden in the apartment. That at least made it more comfortable at night. One of the 4 nights I stayed there someone was having a party which went on literally all night. It ended somewhere around 6:00 a.m., and it was noisy.
