It was OK overall but sadly not exceptional for me . Yes, a very handy location and minutes walk to shops , restaurants, bus station.. you are minutes away from everything central. Loved the stone walls as they kept the room cool (did not use A/C as it wasn't too hot for me). Trogir in itself is a safe place so no issues for a solo traveller like me. I had plenty of space in what I would call en suite rather than an apartment as kitchen was actually next door (separate entry , a different door on communal landing ) . Lovely views onto cobbled street below . Bed was comfortable and I slept well but for couples travelling, it's worth mentioning that there are 2 single mattresses put together (in case that would be an issue for a couple - it wasn't for me). Zoran was friendly and helpful, recommended a lovely beach ☺️, changed couple of bulbs that were not working , brought some tasty grapes from his vineyard- much appreciated. I didn't use the kitchen except to keep fruit in the fridge so can't comment on that (I wasn't going to cook on my holidays ).. Overall a pleasant room and comfy recliner chairs for night time reading. Double glazed windows doing a good job to drown outside noise / people talking in the evenings.
As someone already commented, there is an unpleasant smell to the entry due to nearby restaurant using it for storing their packaging there , so I kept window overlooking that area closed and that solved the issue . General clutter on those stairs as well but as I said, it's a communal entry so it would require a joint effort to tidy it up. Both handrails on stairs are loose . Bathroom needs a better clean (shower area , tiles, glass shelf inside shower area..). Perhaps better towels and better bed linen (certainly bed linen white or in lighter colour for me , it looks "cleaner" than beige pattern sheet and pillow cases and a mismatched top sheet). Strip light over bathroom mirror wasn't working. Main door lock (frame around door handle) very loose and handle just about coming off . All these things would have to be addressed for me to make it a very good or an exceptional experience, so I listed those things with genuine good intentions for them to be addressed (as someone who worked in hospitality and housekeeping in particular for over 25 years , my eyes are "trained " to notice those issues). I know things can get "missed" and I appreciate lots of hard work that goes into maintaining properties. (I won't put photos of stairwell, shower area , door handle onto my review but I have them ). It can be noisy from diners chatting underneath the windows but once restaurants stop for the evenings, it is really peaceful overnight (windows are double glazed so you can close them if it's to noisy ).

The owner, Mr. Justin, is super polite, and Mr. Zoran is a wonderful manager. We really liked the apartment. It's in the heart of the old town. It has a large TV. You can cook whatever you want. The kitchen is fully equipped. Good air conditioning. A super comfortable bed. A private shower. The embankment, where boats depart for the beach or lagoons, is a 3-minute walk away.To Copacabana Beach by boat for 5 euros. Go there!!!

The location was excellent as it is situated right in the heart of Trogir. Furthermore, Trogir is only 20-30 minutes by public transport from the airport, so it was rather convenient. Facilities were clean and well maintained. The host, Zoran, was so friendly and helpful. He took the time out to show me local spots and made me feel very welcomed in Croatia, which actually became one of the highlights of my very first solo trip. I am very thankful and would highly recommend this accommodation.
Nothing of the sort, everything was perfect.
