The apartment was wonderful, what an extraordinary design! Everything smelled clean and well organized. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay, even for longer stays with family, as it had two private rooms with very large beds and even private bathrooms. I fell in love with the pillows and the extra goose down duvet, ideal for those of us who get cold at night. Everything was very spacious, ideal for staying with friends or family, with areas to share a good meal or relax and read a good book. It is also located within the city walls, close to everything in the historic center, which is wonderful if you enjoy a nice evening walk or want to visit its bars and restaurants.

The WiFi was not fast and kept disconnecting constantly. Parking access - in general in Italian cities - is inconvenient due to the regulations. We had to walk a long way from the parking lot with our suitcases (there is free parking outside the city walls, but with specific hours). All doors lock with a key, which is a bit inconvenient if you are in a hurry or going to sleep, you have to leave the key in the door... Inconvenient for check-out. It is very strange that the city tax has to be paid separately via WhatsApp, and it had to be paid by a certain time. Without that payment they wouldn't share the access instructions, which is very stressful and annoying since we traveled from another country. The lack of internet service caused me enormous stress. Maybe in the future you could charge it directly through Booking, as most places do.

This spacious modern apartment inside a historic former carriage house has an embellished wooden ceiling so high that the conversion provided a second level with a bedroom, bathroom and living area. The comfortable ground floor with a great-room kitchen, including a much appreciated washing machine, and another bed and bath, faces into a courtyard, where the friendly staff's outdoor activities provided a sense of competence and community. Two delightful spaniels, though not officially listed as an amenity, are the "cherry on top" of a place we were reluctant to leave.

The attractive natural bedding, air dried on sunny days, was a bit coarse. That's it.

La communication avec la personne qui gérait la résidence était insupportable. La pression mise par cette personne pour la demande d'envoi des documents personnels (carte d'identité et carte de crédit) par whatsapp et le paiement de la taxe de séjour à partir DE LA VEILLE DE MON ARRIVEE. Le lien douteux sur lequel effectuer le paiement qui semblait suspect même pour Booking. La deuxième personne de contact (probablement le propriétaire du bien), non renseignée par Booking, m'a accordé gratuitement le dépot des bagages avant le check-in, vu notre arrivée matinale. Mais la gestionnaire de la résidence n'a pas adopté la même politique lors du check-out en nous réclamant une indemnité supplémentaire pour le dépot des bagages lors du check-out. Aucune personne physique pour la remise des clés ni pour l'état des lieux du logement. Quelques nuisances avec les deux chiens qui aboyaient dans le patio le matin et la propreté relative du logement (toile d'araignées anciennes au plafond et fourmis dans la salle de bain le deuxième jour qui se sont propagées dans la chambre le dernier jour). A aucun moment la gestionnaire ne s'est inquiétée de savoir si nous étions correctement installées. Ce n'est pas digne d'une hospitalité italienne. Pour ces raisons, je suis déçue d'avoir pris ce logement pour lequel j'avais mis un certain temps à me décider. Il est clair que je ne conseille pas cette résidence.
