location was good,

but facilities need improving, Bed was poor, iron leaking, panel in bathroom needs to be taken off and cleaned

La reserva no incluía el desayuno. El conserje Simòn fue muy amable con nosotros, nos entregó las llaves y explicó todo sobre el uso del departamento. Es un lugar muy agradable, situado a metros del río, a la altura de la plaza de los Mercaderes. El departamento es un lujo, una decoración cuidada y asimismo haciendo juego la ropa de cama.

La verdad es que no sabía que se trataba de un cuarto piso por escalera, por lo cual no resulta muy cómodo estar subiendo y bajando muchas veces.

The location was amazing!! It is located right in the heart of Ribeira, and we could easily walk everywhere we wanted to explore.

Although the apartment does seem to match the photos on the surface, we were quite disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. There were cobwebs in every corner, dust on surfaces, dirt on shelves, mold in the shower, bugs on the floor, and the rug in the living room was extremely dirty. We did not feel comfortable taking off our shoes for most of our stay. The main frustration with this experience however was the ants!! There were ants crawling everywhere, on tables, and in our bags!! We could not have any food in the apartment for the entire stay, and we kept all of our things packed and zipped up the whole time. We did message the number of the host that was provided to us after the first night, and we got no response. We also sent the same message through Booking.com the next day, with still zero response! It was not until after we checked out after 3 nights that we finally got a message back from the host saying that the ants were a problem in the building that they thought had been taken care of. This whole experience was so disappointing for us, because we were really looking forward to our 3 nights in Porto, but this accommodation really negatively impacted our experience in the city (the city itself was great!!). We were most disappointed by the lack of communication by the host and feeling like this information was kept from us when we checked in. We would not recommend.
