I liked everything

The apartment itself is lovely and spacious. Having the outdoor space in summer is great.

The check-in process was very disappointing despite the fact that I have been communicating with the staff regularly. As pointed out by some of the previous reviews, they don't accommodate early check-in and send through the instructions only just before the check-in time. In our case, our apartment wasn't ready at the advertised time (3pm) and we were advised about it only an hour before. Had we known this information earlier, we could have amended our travel plans. I find it strange (and off-putting) that we receive a check-out reminder email in the evening 2 days prior to actual check-out, for a moment I thought I'd book the wrong dates. It also makes me wonder why our apartment wasn't ready if they have all these measures in place to make sure they have ample time for the cleaning and turnover. The amenities are great, but bear in mind that consumables like toiletries and detergent are not included. There's a clothes iron but no ironing board. The apartment itself is lovely, but the check-in experience has tainted our holiday and by the time we've gone to the nearby store to buy the supplies, I can't help feeling that it's not actually that great for value.
