Dirty & Very Disruptive Stay

Location and free street parking on residential lane way.

The apartment is very dirty. Black mould on walls and tiles. Loads of dust build up on some appliances. See uploaded photos. TV remote not working. No buttons on old TV to bypass remote. Guests in room 2 banging on our window at 5am cause they forgot door combination or their room key to get in!

Price is low. But for a reason.

Far away from everything but ok... that's why it´s cheap. Other renters partied till 6am despite asking them to calm down. We decided to leave and find an agreement with the owner so we could get a part of our money back. He never answered. So... I would avoid this place.

Tiny, but really well distributed. I had bigger hotel rooms with less actual space.Also, the kitchenette was well equipped (even with microwave and portable cooking platform), the products like detergents or hair shampoo were of those rather better brands (fairy, pantine pro v, head&shoulders). Separate electric radiator on the wall next to the bed.

The lack of sound proof door. Only 3 “mini apartments”, but you hear your neighbours entering and leaving their rooms, and also, their conversations while they are in their own premises. The cold and moist bathroom. There is a heather,but it causes electricity shortage if you turn it on, so forget about drying your towel.

Do not recommend with kids

Location was ok, near of city center and bus stop. But around there is no place near to buy food or something. There is one small market nearby.

It was very dirty! There was mold and fly-worms everywhere! I was pretty shocked! The trash cans were near outside the patio door and the worms went directly into the room. We contacted the host and they did immediately call someone to clean up, but next morning it happened again. I felt not safe as well, someone drunk was trying to enter our room, screaming in the night and we could hear the neighbors fighting/discussing. We as a small family were totally not pleased and scared.

A fine place for a night or two while sightseeing all day.

The place was basic but it is what I expected and the price was right. I thought the location was great too. A 25 min walk into central Dublin and a bus that runs often as well. A cute coffee shop around the corner. It was great for a two night stay and they were very accommodating in letting me check in early after an international flight. If you are seeing something at the stadium, it is very close to that. It's a good place to sleep and then sightsee all day, but I wouldn't want to spend all day in the apartment.

It is quite noisy as other reviewers wrote, even if people aren't trying to be noisy. There is a key punch code that is very loud when people enter their apartment and the walls are thin, so you can hear everything. The device that holds the shower head needs to be replaced.

Decent room for a quick stay in Dublin

I liked the location. It was within a few minutes walking distance to grocery stores, convenience stores and restaurants. It is also very close to a public transit stop that will take you into downtown. I liked that the room was equipped with a small kitchen and had appliances such as a coffee maker, toaster, fridge and oven. The bathroom also had bath soap and shampoo.

I didn't like that the space for sleeping was very very tight. One would have to be very careful when getting up as to not hit their head on the bunk above them. There were also a lot of flies in the room. I think they came from outside as the garbage bins were outside of the room window. The room was hot during the night and i think it would have been a help to open the window but we didn't because the garbage bins were outside and they had a smell. So we kept the window close.

Croke park apartment

First impression was not very good looked like it was above a late night takeaway,but once in the apartment was quite impressed.Nice little courtyard felt very secure.

Number 81 needs to be on the gate as struggled to find the apartment.Car parking was abit misleading as you park on the pavement right outside the window of the apartment and you are half on half off the road.

Nice short stay in Croke Park

Location was very handy for walking into Dublin and for seeing the nearby Croke Park Stadium. The apartment was very clean, had all the amenities as advertised, and generally great for a short stay in Dublin.

Whilst the staff in the neighboring takeaway were very helpful in getting us access to the flat, the lack of communication about gaining entry did cause some concern when we arrived.

Decent location but in need of some TLC

The location was good.Unreasonably priced for being quite close to the city centre. Good facilities for what you need to make basic meals. Staff did go out of their way to support.

The apartments were quite close together and we had another guest knocking on our door at 9 PM, asking us to keep the noise down because she had had an early morning, which would be ok if were actually doing anything more then just talking. Shower temp went cold on last day and bathroom is in need of some TLC. TV unusable due to location of where it is and bracket hanging on the wall for dear life.

- Nice interior - Lots of utensils and appliances - Large TV (perhaps too large) - Fairly convenient check-in - fairly close to the center

- Not very clean - Although the interiors are well-kept and attractive, I don't think they were designed by a professional. The space is not well organized, there is a lot of wasted space, and some things are not very functional, such as the lack of a light on the bedside table, mood lighting without convenient switches, lack of light curtains to provide privacy without sacrificing light, etc. - The communication was very cold. We did not feel welcome - Inconvenient for any home deliveries because there is a double door with no doorbell - The neighborhood is relatively close to the center but is quite ugly, bare, and abandoned

Very little natural light getting into the apartment (no.3). Zero soundproofing, could hear the micro wave being used in building next door. Bins were taken out at 5am, woke everyone up...

I DID NOT STAY!!!!

The location was unsafe to park a vehicle overnight. I did not stay there. I arranged another location at huge cost BUT it was preferable to staying there. There was nowhere to sit in the facility, unless one counts the four kitchen chairs . Not comfortable for a night in. There was no way of watching the television (if it even worked) as it was located on a broken bracket BETWEEN two bunk beds facing the wall - 3.5 feet away wioth no chance of sitting to watch it. I will be very careful in future when booking with Booking.com. Had I not moved to another facility I would not have slept with worry about my vehicle, which I flagged at time of booking as a 16-seater bus. This location is awful.

Quiet room in a great location

Room was cozy and accommodating, the bathroom was an efficient size. The location was convenient and had a bus stop right across the street that ran until late at night; if you don't mind walking it's a nice walk to downtown Connolly street but the temple bar area is a long walk. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area and a quiet suburban type spot. The kitchen had a small counter but a great selection of appliances and a mini fridge. The room was very easy to temperature control and we never got too hot.

The bed and pillows were mediocre, the toilet was constantly running and the shower was ice cold most of the time and leaks all over the bathroom floor if it's not angled correctly.

Studio #2: manageable for one night & for one person

Good location just a corner away from Croke Park Stadium, though getting in was a bit tricky as gate is not on Ballybough Rd, but from Charleville Ave, beside the Wine Tree pub. Apart from this extensive information package was sent, the code for the gate and for the studio lock was working fine. Very warm water, but continental type mixing tap helped to set appropriate temperature.

Entry info sent quite late, I was almost on the plane when got email (might be a problem if no data roaming in one's mobile contract). No towels (which was listed on the website), but luckily I don't sleep with pillows, so the pillow case was used. Well actually: I could not have a shower as the hand piece was tied to the holder with a string. Double bed fits one person easily, I am not so sure about 2 (unless spooning). Table with 2 chairs, but second has the TV set and its cables hanging over.

it was advertised "free parking". when asked, we were told "find parking on the street" (it was a very narrow one way street, we had to park partly on the sidewalk)! host (remote) sent the entrance directions and gate code too late!

Exceptional

Shower very adjustable, can have low/pressure and finely tune heat. Very good value for Dublin. Just a few things missing probably because it's new, but a bedside table and drawer for clothes in the room would be nice. If you're looking for the place, just put "the vine tree" into google maps, it's down the side road from that.

Correct pour le prix.

L'appartement est bien situé. Environ 20 minutes de marche pour rejoindre le centre, c'est très bien. La chambre était propre, les équipements sont conformes à la description.

Comme cela a déjà été signalé, l'insonorisation entre les chambres est inexistante. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans la chambre voisine..... Par ailleurs, je n'avais reçu aucune consigne pour l'arrivée. Je suis donc arrivé devant une porte close.... Petit moment d'inquiétude.... Au bout de quelques minutes, une personne arrive heureusement, mais c'est un occupant d'une autre chambre, qui m'indique qu'il faut aller à la petite épicerie située à côté. J'aurais aimé le savoir avant d'arriver....
