About this villa rental
This beautiful, spacious property offers you a beach vacation near Caorle, opportunities for day trips to Venice and Trieste, yet idyllic, rural tranquility away from the hustle and bustle.
A baker and a massage therapist will come to the house upon request! Have fresh rolls, croissants, and other bakery items delivered, and enjoy a relaxing Shiatsu massage in the air-conditioned house!
This house was initially listed on Airbnb by our son Luca; now I’m managing it. Since it wasn’t possible to transfer Luca’s account to me, we’ve attached screenshots of the reviews we’ve already received.
The Property
Our vacation home, newly built in 2007 in San Stino in an idyllic location, actually consists of two houses that—though they do not have a connecting door—stand right next to each other: a smaller house and a main house. The total living area is approximately 120 square meters, with a private garden of about 1,000 square meters.
Features of the main house:
It has approximately 55 square meters on the first floor and an additional 30 square meters on the upper floor. Downstairs, there is a single large room containing the kitchen, a dining area, and a living area. An open staircase leads upstairs to the loft, where there is an open sleeping area with two beds and a large bathroom.
Kitchen: fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, sink, espresso machine, milk frother, dishwasher, microwave, juicer, blender, stovetop, oven, and wood-burning stove.
Dining area: a beautiful, large solid-wood table with six chairs (two additional chairs are available upstairs; the table is large enough for eight).
Living area: rustic sofas (two-seater, three-seater, and armchair), table, and internet-enabled TV.
One exit to the south-facing terrace with a barbecue fireplace and a view of the fields; two exits to the west-facing terrace. The terraces feature two tables and ten chairs, as well as several sun loungers and chairs.
Bedroom: One large double bed (180 x 200), two nightstands; one additional single bed (80 x 200), which can be extended into a full-size double bed (160 x 200), dresser (no closet!), Yamaha digital piano, radiator.
Bathroom: Bathtub (showering is only possible while squatting!), toilet, bidet, sink, small shelf and cabinet above and below the sink, towel warmer.
Amenities in the smaller house:
The smaller house, measuring 35 square meters, features two separate bedrooms with two double beds (160 and 140 x 200), nightstands, and wardrobes; one room also has a small desk; and a smaller bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet, sink, small shelf, and cabinets above and below the sink, as well as a towel warmer.
Other amenities: dishes, silverware, glasses, cups, two frying pans, one large and one small pot, a salad spinner, a citrus juicer, umbrellas, a clothesline, Wi-Fi in both houses, and a large trampoline. A solar panel system was installed on the roof at the end of 2023, allowing the property to generate its own electricity.
Both houses have individually controlled air conditioning systems; both have underfloor heating on the first floor; both bathrooms feature towel warmer radiators; and there is an additional radiator in the upstairs sleeping area. The larger house also has a wood-burning stove downstairs for heating. Thanks to the variety of heating options, the property can be used without restriction year-round and is therefore ideal for visits to the “WinterWonderLand” Christmas market in Caorle (which usually runs until January 6 in Italy!) or the Carnival in Venice. A direct train runs from San Stino to Venice without any transfers, saving you the expense of parking garages there!
Surrounding the houses are spacious terraces: three large, interconnected ones facing south, southwest, and west, offering sweeping views across the fields all the way to Caorle (where there are sometimes amazing fireworks); a smaller terrace in front of the small house overlooking the garden to the west; and a narrow strip on the east side. The property has been fully fenced since May

The home was clean, spacious and comfortable. Sergio,the host was quick to respond to any questions I had. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle of Prosecco upon our arrival. The home is a 5 minute drive from the town center and grocery stores.
