Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The house is situated on 15 acres, on the edge of dense Maine forest, with a lake across the street (dirt road), and has great country charm. Dappled sunlight. Fresh forest air. Alternately, the nearest town is just 10 minutes away, with more than enough shopping choices for whatever you might need. The coastal beauty of Wells, Kennebunk, and York is less than a half hour and Portland is less than an hour away.

Guests will have the house to themselves, which is primarily the 1st floor, with laundry facilities in the basement. There is a barn/garage on the property which is not accessible to guests.

This house in the woods was well supplied with spices, towels & just about everything you could need. Very clean. Loved the fire pit. Cooked our hotdogs over the fire, & had a nice glass of wine later to sit outside & view the stars. Also made smores!

Secluded quiet location with plenty of open space in front of the house. Rooms were neat and clean and so was the washroom. Overall excellent place to spend a few days.
