Woodlands Retreat has a kitchen/diner, a utility, a living/dining room with electric fire, a boot room, a king-size bedroom with en-suite, two double bedrooms, a twin, a bathroom and a cloakroom. Appliances consist of an electric Range, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, and for entertainment, a Smart TV, and a selection of books and games. Outside there is a rear garden with lawn, decking, furniture, and hot tub, and off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair and travel cot. Enjoy a Denbighshire, family break at Woodlands Trust. Note: There are steps in the garden; please take care. Note: Guests have access to a range of on-site facilities, bar, restaurant, pool games room, tennis courts, and an enclosed dog walking park. Town: The hilltop town of Ruthin lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. The town is picturesque with attractive half-timbered buildings, mainly clustered around St Peter’s Square. There are many interesting shops and buildings, whilst the Nant Clwyd House (the oldest timber frame in Wales), Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople, are also worth a visit. Beautiful countryside is on Ruthin’s doorstep with Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Clocaenog Forest close by. Further afield, but still within easy touring distance, are the coast, Snowdonia National Park and historic Chester.
