Views. Deck. Pool.
Nice clean (plain) cottage with good views. The listing notes “friendly caretaker lives nearby”. Actually the Owner lives in the same house on the lower floor. Very different feel. Like live, on site, real time monitoring. Not private. Not exclusive access. Owner decided to enter our private space, while we were away, without our permission or knowledge. She also decided to do maintenance in and around pool areas, designated as private and included, during the duration of our stay, preventing our open and free enjoyment. Finally, owner remotely locked the only access door, sometime after midnight, on the last night of our stay. If you stepped outside the next morning for coffee at the pool or to get something out of your car or to take out the trash, you were automatically locked out- a royal PITA, especially if you did not have your phone with you or had not memorized the access code. Finally we were hounded to leave a 5 star review at various times during the stay. 🤨
