Relax in the cozy bedroom loft "Low Dome ceilings" , cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, and unwind in the inviting living area. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Just minutes from the lake and river!!!

Welcome to the Hill Country Hangar, a magnificent retreat nestled in the heart of the picturesque Texas Hill Country. Our exquisite property offers a unique and versatile accommodation experience that caters to a variety of occasions, from family gatherings and graduation parties to romantic getaways and memorable date nights.
Situated atop a serene hilltop, the Hill Country Hangar affords breathtaking views and an abundance of space to create unforgettable moments. Please come prepared with comfortable walking shoes, as the front entrance requires traversing a steep incline. We are on solar power (with grid backup)!
Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding our hilltop haven. Take in the invigorating fresh air while basking in the tranquility offered by the lush, tree-covered landscape. Additionally, our prime location places you conveniently between Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River, allowing you to indulge in water-centric activities and explorations. If you have a penchant for wine country adventures, the captivating towns of Fredericksburg, Wimberley, and Dripping Springs are all within close proximity, offering delightful experiences to savor.
We invite you to relax, unwind, and relish in the serenity that the Hill Country Hangar provides. Guest access
Guest will have a full range of the airplane hangar as well as the property. Relax in the intimate hot tub at night while you look up at the stars or surround the community fireplace with friends to create everlasting memory. Please refrain from entering the storage barn that is across the property.
Other things to note
Guests will have a 4 car parking space on the main Hangar level, but may park by the front gate entrance if needed. Be sure to bring some sturdy shoes as the Hangar is on a steep hill top. guests my encounter wildlife during their stay. Deer, Fox, birds, butterflies, squirrels, lizards, etc.

WOW. What an amazing place to stay! The site is beautiful! Interesting design & thoughtful space solutions throughout. Outdoor showers were so fantastic - a big hit with teen kids. Sitting in the hot tub, with the high-power fan blowing, watching World Cup games on the outdoor TV? Paradise. An unusual, so much better place to stage a trip to Schlitterbahn & Canyon Lake, for a family traveling with younger cousins (7, 10 etc). Site can be a little hard to find at night - look for the Hangar Hotel sign well-paved driveway. Site stayed nice & cold except for in the middle of the day when the large hangar room would get a little hot. The “glamping” tent was a little too hot at night, but the kids enjoyed it at night (an a/c unit is in the tent) on the days it was closer to 92, not 95. There are many cute, hidden “fairy house” doors on the property and beautiful lighting at night. The fireplace was fun to use for s’mores - plenty of wood & kindling to gather onsite. Nice candles throughout the hangar (“Volcano” from Capri Blue); lots of nice glasses for drink service. GREAT ART. We got fresh oranges & used the giant JUICER wow, for fresh OJ in the morning. No toaster. Microwave display is kind of broken but we just did 30sec, stopping it early as needed for warm tortillas. You get a whole fridge & freezer as guests, complete with a large tray of ice chilled drink glasses inside the freezer. Washer had a weird smell? Julian looking into it. Absolutely a 5 star place - LOVED!

Great and unique place with lots of amenities right on the property. The hot tub is great, but so is the deck level with soaking tub, outdoor shower, and luxury tent. Very comfortable place, and we’ll likely be back and would definitely stay here again. Great and responsive host, too!
