An incredible holiday home with an unforgettable view, the sound of the sea, and great amenities. The owner met us on arrival and was warm and kind – and had even provided supplies and treats for our arrival. The home itself was well designed and furnished – and pleasantly cool in the July heat. Everything was made really easy (we even had a cleaner half way through our stay) and all we had to do was relax and explore this beautiful part of Crete. If you're weighing up whether to book Santa Maria or another property I'd honestly choose this one immediately.

Incredible location right on the water with a lovely terrace. The owner is absolutely lovely and surprised us with so many amenities and attention to detail inside and outside of the house.
The traditional furniture inside is a nice touch, but somewhat uncomfortable. Accessibility to the water from the garden is a bit treacherous.
