The host was waiting for us when we arrived. We were a little bit later than we'd expected but the lady was looking out of the window and gave us a friendly wave as we got out of the taxi.
The apartment was lovely, very clean and had everything that we needed. The area was residential but quiet and only a ten minute walk to the Metro Station. There was a shop for essentials, breakfast items etc., very close by.
The host was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we couldn't speak any Spanish and the host couldn't speak English but we still managed to communicate fine. We had a couple of questions about taking the Metro, so the host contacted a friend who acted as translator for us via mobile phone!
