Great location and excellent communication both before and throughout the stay. Really generously sized apartment and bedrooms, very comfortable and a great place to relax and explore from. Definitely recommend if there is a group of people or a family travelling. So many great shops, cafes, and restaurants right at the doorstep up High Street, Vulcan Lane, and of course Queen & Victoria Streets as well.
The central air system is a bit noisy, but only really an issue when you are in the kitchen - not something you hear in the bedrooms (a building issue, not the fault of the apartment itself). You do hear people on Queen Street late at night but again - this is to be expected when you are right in the heart of town!

Fantastic location, easy to check in and great host! Just right at the middle of city with eateries all around. House is clean and spacious. Highly recommended!

Nice apartment, walking distance to the civic theatre.
Was told there were coffee pods supplied - no coffee pods. I would have brought some from home.
The TV was broken - we wanted to watch rugby at 4.30 - they said someone would come at 7 - too late for us. The owner was in Gisborne.
No mirrors on bedroom walls.
No milk in fridge.
Had to ring the owners regarding the problems. Problems not solved. The cost to stay for the night was quite expensive and it did not come up to standard.
