Upon arrival, access was smooth. I like the way the property is tucked back, and it's very private. Beautiful area with a west-facing deck. The living room furniture was very comfortable. Close to all major activities. Great base to explore W SD.
The king bed in the master bedroom is very hard. We chose to sleep in the bedrooms upstairs and they were comfortable.

I loved that we were secluded and wildlife was all around. Turkeys, deer, elk and we loved the visit from the neighbors horses every day. Sitting on the deck every evening was the most relaxing part of our trip. The location was great also to Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore. We will definitely be back.

Hot Shot Hideaway was perfect, we wanted a house that was out of town a bit so we could enjoy the scenery and wildlife, and this place delivered all of that!
The house was cozy and looked exactly as the pictures online (no surprises).
We will be keeping this place on our list to go back to for sure... we highly recommend making this your next vacation spot.
The management was so wonderful to work with... thank you again for opening up your home for people to enjoy and make it their home away from home!
We wish we could have stayed longer!
The only thing for us was the bed was a little more firm than what we are used to, but we had an extra blanket with that we slept on that was just enough to make it a little softer.
That will not keep us away.... we will stay here again!
