Location was great! Loved the separation (basement/for In-Law) the outside views, the privacy and the cozy feeling every morning looking out the big windows watching the white tail deer run around while I drink my coffee. We ended up with snow the day before leaving which was great.
The property was not ready for us to check in at 4:00. (4:30pm it was available) Apologies from the host were given. The floors were dusty (around the baseboards and it looked as if the cleaning person doesn’t move bar stools when sweeping and under the furniture needed sweeping with a swifter) (floors are LVP) The coffee bean mixers were dirty and the windows were dirty. Had to contact the host to have the cleaning person bring us toilet paper and paper towels. There was an odor in the basement that stayed for a few days-a soured smell. Also when using the upstairs washing machine-a not so good odor smell came from it as well-clothes came put clean and smelled good-so that was a relief. Most likely the washing machine needs a deep cleaning.
