The Address Apartment Kathmandu

This is a residential area so you will live amongst the locals, which is a great experience to learn and understand the Nepali culture. The landlord Panta and his wife Muna were amazing and always ready to help and assist in case we had any questions. The kitchen is great and has everything you need to cook your meals. The beds are super comfortable and the AC/heating was working fine, which was great after freezing my butt off in a previous apartment during the Christmas holidays. There are many grocery shops just in Sumitrata Marg, where you can buy water, vegetables and food stuff. Just by walking 5 minutes in the river direction, you can find other cold shops to buy your milk, yak cheese, yoghurt, all the chicken and buff meat you wish (both fresh and frozen). This was a great experience and we kept booking the same apartment for 2 months.

The first week we experienced a couple of blackouts, thankfully they were pretty short and some lights in the apartment kept working, which is great. Blackouts are very common in KTM but we were lucky because they were a lot less usual in this area compared to the Old KTM area.
