Martini Time, panoramic terrace on the castle walls

Tremendous views from the spacious terrace and large windows over two sides of the city. Very comfortable, well appointed, handsome apartment. The very kind and gracious hosts welcomed us with excellent instructions, a well stocked fridge, local Sardinia wine (to sip on the terrace at sunset), and all the beach equipment a family could need. The air conditioner, washing machine, all appliances are new and work well. We LOVED our week in Cagliari— this is the apartment to choose.

Nothing—it’s splendid. Do heed the description of the stairs, however—it’s an historic building with no elevator. It’s worth the climb!

El departamento muy lindo, limpio y cómodo! Los anfitriones geniales! Muy amables y considerados. Nos compraron algunas cosas para el desayuno para el primero día y un vino para disfrutar a la noche! El departamento esta super bien equipado con platos, cubiertos, fuentes y hasta platos y vasos para niños! Además, cuenta con todo lo que puedas necesitar para llevar a la playa! Sombrilla, toallas de playa, bolso de playa, juegos de playa para adultos y niños, termos. Tiene una amplia terraza con hermosas vistas de la ciudad.

Las escaleras! Muchas escaleras para llegar al apartamento. Cansador sin maletas y mas aun con las maletas! Pero hay fotos de las escaleras en la pagina, por lo que no fue una sorpresa.

This apartment is clearly a labor of love. The conscientious owners/hosts have taken pride in fine modern and antique furnishings from around the world. Perched above the city you can see the sunrise over the mountains with the light reflecting off of the salt lagoon and the sunset over the rooftops and mountains across the bay. We spent hours at aperitivo time out on the balcony enjoying the view. We appreciated the friendly, English-speaking owner’s helpful advice on beaches and restaurants to visit outside of Cagliari. Communication with him made our arrival and departure quite easy. He kindly met us near the Castello and personally directed us to the building and even carried my wife’s luggage up the many stairs to the top floor. We arrived to find the place immaculately cleaned (and learned that it had even been sanitized between every stay). There was a bottle of wine, coffee and tea, bread and eggs, and fresh fruit so we didn’t have to immediately shop for our morning breakfast (although there is a coffee bar with fresh pastries just down the block). The kitchen has everything and it was easy to cook some meals during our five-night stay. We loved all of it.

Without an elevator, this 13th century building meant we got our steps in each day whether we liked it or not.

An amazing location which oozed history and made us feel part of the city from the moment we arrived. The hosts were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Their welcome was warm and they set us up for the first few days with a package of bread, cheese, wine etc. The property had all of the basics like coffee and tea etc along with condiments and other kitchen essentials - a real home from home. The balcony was amazing and the temperature was perfect with a cool breeze through the apartment even when the temperatures down below were in the 30’s. Close by are great cafes for breakfast, shops for food and wonderful restaurants as well as the Cathedral a few steps away. We would recommend the apartment to anyone who wants to really feel part of the city for a while. Even if you are off to a mainly beach based stay further up the island a few days acclimatising in Cagliari is a great start to any stay on the island.

Could not fault a single aspect of this the apartment! Every thought had gone into the design and amenities.
