Altitude Apartment, Martinborough

The appartment is fantastic! Amazing location, and soo very spacious, excellent provisions, kitchen well stocked and entertainment (games, books and magazines) were very thoughtful. Only thing was the heat pump struggled to warm it up, and the road noise was loud all night long. No noise from the bars like the listing said, but more just traffic, curtains in the bedroom like in the lounge would help with this. But certainly recommend the apartment and the host was beyond excellent to deal with, very accomodating, excellent communication. We will be back!

Lovely place really well appointed kitchen and gorgeous bed linen lovely sitting out on the veranda with a drink. There was a problem with the lockbox key but it got sorted quickly

This is the best spot in the heart of Martinborough. Super well equipped and tastefully decorated. The space is massive with outdoor seating areas in 2 places. Already booked our next trip

The space, beds and linen were lovely and comfortable but… we all felt that for what was presented as a superior property with cost matching that it lacked a lot of little touches. The space didn’t seem recently clean or refreshed and compared to other places we’d stayed there were no extra touches such as a good sized milk, flannels for everyone, bathroom products. There was an unpleasant sewage smell that only disappeared after lots of water was run through the shower. And early on the Wednesday morning we were assailed by the sound and spray of a water blasting team cleaning the building!! Just as well we weren’t planning on breakfast on the lovely decks! It would have been nice to have been prepared! Overall a lovely property but lacking the care to make it superb. guests
