About this cottage rental
This lovely cozy retreat is situated in the heart of Martinborough and its surrounding vineyards, cafes, and shops. It's just two minutes walk to the village and an easy walk to some of the best vineyards in the district.
The cottage offers all the charm of yesteryear mixed with modern features and appliances. Railway Cottage's open plan living flows out to a covered deck. The perfect outdoor setting for dining, enjoying the country air or just soaking up the sun with a good book. A lovely heater on the deck for curling up with a blanket on the evenings or cold days.
If you experience one of those rainy days you can relax in front of the gas fire, entertaining yourself with the selection of DVD's, books and board games available.
There are two mountain bikes available onsite if you are looking for some exercise.

Sheryl is a fantastic host and very accommodating. The Cottage is very comfortable and in a fantastic location - very close to the square. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Sheryl.

Location is excellent but we were really disappointed on the overall cleanliness and condition of the property.
Better quality linen and pillows would help. But it needs a thorough clean out, spider webs, windows had mould on the inside, layers of dirty dust on the skirting boards and peeling paint in the bathroom. Also the grounds need attention. And please get rid of the outside couch it is filthy and something you would see in a student flat.
