THE LONGUEVALLERIE COTTAGE: AN ODE TO NATURE
It is an annex to a former 16th-century farmhouse overlooking the Saire Valley
in Le Vast.
The location is exceptional, and the private property extends all the way to the edge of a river—actually a river, since it flows into the nearby sea.
The view is breathtaking, and no houses or infrastructure are visible from the cottage’s terrace. It’s a magical setting that captivated Roman Polanski; in 1979, he came here to shoot several scenes for his famed movie “Tess ”

I’m struggling to find the right words for a review. It’s a Fantastic place in such a beautiful location. Beautiful house and garden with everything you need (and lots more). Comfortable, stylish and beautiful. The hosts are such wonderful people, so helpful, kind and were so good with our children (and us!). It became so much more than a holiday, it was truly special and we are truly grateful to Claude & Michelle for that.
