We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, beautifully updated, and thoughtfully decorated. The location is a bit rural, which we expected, but restaurants and shops are just a short drive away. The highlight was the lake view. It was absolutely stunning, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. It made for such a peaceful getaway.The only downside was that the bunk beds were quite uncomfortable, but aside from that, everything else was fantastic.We would recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful scenery.

We had such a fun stay! The house is adorable, cozy, and made for a perfect getaway. Renting a pontoon from Burhop’s was a highlight on Thursday to soak up the beautiful weather on the water.Just a couple of small suggestions for next time: having a few extra kitchen towels would be helpful and the smoke alarm near the kitchen kept beeping even without a battery, which was disruptive in the middle of the night although the battery had been removed earlier in the day when it started. The septic alarm went off once, but we were able to take care of it quickly. Thankfully a conversation with the owner earlier provided direction on how to do this.Overall, we loved our time here and would absolutely come back — such a great spot!

The location and sunsets were awesome! The kitchen was well equipped and the dock was sturdy and stable. The skylight in the main living was awesome! The back bedroom ran hot. I suspect the water heater & HVAC are located behind a thin panel in the back bedroom and it had a wall vent. Warm air flowed into the room through the vent when the water heater or HVAC were running. The blower was also loud. We kept the door open and the ceiling fan on to keep the air moving. The middle bedroom bed is not suitable for adults and but ok for kids. The primary bedroom and bathroom were very good. Overall, the stay was pleasant.
