About this house rental
The home was completely renovated in 2022! It is located across from Lake Wisconsin with a modern open floor plan, lake views, and a large front deck. The basement rec room includes a second living space and a ping pong table. The free Merrimac Ferry is within walking distance or a short drive away. Devil's Lake State Park and the Ice Age Trail are nearby. There are many options for restaurants and bars in the surrounding areas, and Wisconsin Dells is a 30-minute drive away. There are endless areas to explore to enjoy year-round activities!
Located in the quaint village of Merrimac, one block from Lake Wisconsin, and five blocks from the free Merrimac Ferry. In a family friendly neighborhood with sidewalks, yet feels private on all sides of the property. Walking distance to Merrimac Memorial Park with dock for fishing, a playground, and panoramic lake views.
Relax on the large front deck overlooking the community baseball diamond and Lake Wisconsin. In warmer months, a four person outdoor dining table with an umbrella and also four tall deck chairs are available.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, stovetop/oven, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, cooking sheets, casserole dishes, slow cooker, coffee maker (12-cup drip and Keurig combo), and toaster. There is an outdoor charcoal grill for guest use (bring your own charcoal and fluid).
Main level full bathroom with tub/shower and essentials (bath/hand towels, washcloths, TP, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash).
The basement rec room includes an additional living space and TV, work desk, a ping pong table, and a putting green mat. There is also a washer and dryer and a quarter bathroom (toilet only, utility sink is around the corner in laundry space).
In the living room, there is a Samsung smart TV with YouTubeTV streaming app, along with various games and puzzles for your entertainment. There is also a smart TV in the basement rec room.
Sleeping arrangements:
Bedroom 1 - one king bed
Bedroom 2 - one queen bed
Living room - two sleeper sofas (queen and twin)
All bedding and linens are provided.
Access to the 2-car garage is included. Securely park two vehicles in the garage with any additional gear that you bring. Note the garage door has a 7 ft height clearance. The driveway can fit another two vehicles.
Many options for restaurants, bars, supper clubs, wineries, and breweries in the immediate and surrounding areas. You can also walk to a nice hometown bar just half a block away!
Guests will have access to the entire property other than a locked supply closet in the basement.

This was the perfect house for us, had everything that we needed. Traveled with three adults and three kids (10, 7, 3) - having a ballfield right across the street was a HUGE selling point for us since we are a big baseball family, we were at the field every day. The village is very cute, also really quiet (minus July 3rd when a few very rowdy drunk people decided they needed to honk horns and scream-sing at 11pm). Kitchen had everything that we needed, basement was great to have the kids go play on a different level. They thought taking the ferry across the lake was pretty cool and the ice cream shop on the other side of the lake in Lodi is awesome with yard games and a really big sandbox for them to play in.Hosts were amazing to work with, answered all my questions prior to arriving, price was on point with what we wanted to spend. Close enough to the Dells for fun adventures but far enough away to be in a quiet area in a little town. Will book with them again in the future.
