L Appartement Particulier dun Hôtel Particulier Datant du Xvieme Siècle

From the moment we saw the amazing old door that leads up the stone spiral stairs to this apartment, we knew we were in for a treat. I counted 50 steps, so the information is correct ie not suitable for anyone disabled. It is even nicer than the photos. Beautifully furnished, with big airy rooms, we were able to open all the tall windows for a breeze in very hot temperatures. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen and luxurious linen on the beds, we also had some very efficient fans to keep cool at night. Restaurants and lovely shops just outside, it was a perfect spot. Sylvie was waiting for us and showed us round, she couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly, helpful and informative. In fact, she went well beyond helpful when we realised we'd left our passports behind and had to return the next day. She also lends you her card so that you don't have to pay in the big parking area - it's a short walk down a lovely alleyway to get to the apartment. What a wonderful stay, we were so sad to leave it and beautiful Perigueux, which is very French and unspoilt. Merci Sylvie!
